Mothers Day 2008

Well, my 2nd Mothers Day has arrived and it was a great day! Jocelyn was so loving towards me....you would think she actually knew that today was a special day. Jeffry was out of town getting ready for his 2 week mission trip to China and didnt get home until later that evening, so it truly was me and my girl most of the day. Her daddy did get home in time from them to take me to my favorite resturante...Wasabi's. I was so blessed, Joc's nursery class helped her make me the sweetest Mothers Day card. I'm sure it is just the beginning of my collection of home made cards from my little sweetie.

She was giving mommy lovin here. I love it when she does that!

Showing off her pretty linen lady busy outfit she wore.

Singing "I love you, You love me, We're a happy family,..."
Well, you know the rest of the song. It's so fun looking back. Of course, Christy and I had to get our anual Mother's Day photo together. You can see below this picture I attached our photo from last year when Jocelyn was only 6 days old. Now, Christy is 7 months pregnant with her 2nd baby boy, Jocelyn is 1, and Michael is 17 months. And might I add that I'm looking much better than I did last year. ;-) Gosh, time flies by!
This day was definitely better sweet. Jocelyn and I had to say goodbye to sweet Vanessa. She was Jocelyn's first at home babysitter and she has been such a blessing to us. Both Christine & Vanessa were the first to watch Jocelyn in the nursery at church. I couldnt have turned her over to more precious girls. They made it so easy for me. Christy & I had so much fun last week hanging out with Christine (who already left us in January, but was back to help Christy out for a week) and Vanessa. Now they both have graduated from grad school at UT and are heading off to start in new jobs. The friendships that we have found in them are very special, not to mention Michael & Jocelyn love them dearly.
We will miss you guys!
Mtn Ridge gave the prettiest flowers out to the moms on Mothers day. Jocelyn is trying her hardest to stay flower, but in the meantime we taught her that they smell so pretty. She would put to nose up to them to smell them. It was so cute!
