Jocelyn's Visits the ER

While in Birmingham for a few days, sweet Jocelyn caught a cold and fell into her normal routine of weesing. After we noticed her breathing treatments were really helping her out, we called her Dr's office back in Knoxville. They highly suggested that we take her to the ER or Urgent Care Facility. So we did. We were definitely led in making that decision as she was gasping for air when it was time for the Dr to see her. She had a low grade fever, beginning of an ear infections, and was highly congested. She had to do 2 30 minute breathing treatments and a steriod shot. They even made the comment "if she goes home today". It pretty sad to see your precious child struggling to breathe. We are definitely asking God to keep her from having to deal with the same asthma & allergy struggles that her dad and I have had to deal with. She was a trooper though.

She even got an arm band!

Before we were called back to see the Dr., Jocelyn got to play on the little slide in the waiting room. It was fun that she actually had hair long enough to stand up on top of her head from static electricity. :-)
