Going Fishin'

During our gettaway trip to Birmingham, Jocelyn got to go fishing for the first time. Aunt Resa has been telling her since she was born that she was gonna be the first to take her...and she was right! Resa even got her a cute little fishing pole.
All ready to catch some fish.
Aunt Resa showing her how it's done.
Jocelyn hung in there for 2 hours. Funny thing was that she kept saying that she was was gonna catch a BIG SHARK, but I dont think she realized that little Columbiana fish ponds dont have big sharks. ;-)

She touched it! Yes, so did it. Not so much a girlie girl huh? I realize they were pretty little...not the big shark that she was hoping for.

It was snack time. Man, fishing makes you hungry!

7/19/09 First Kiss/Evening at the Cove

Tonight our church had our baptism service at the Cove. While others were being baptized, the pastors kids were grabbing there first kiss. Not really, but this picture perfect moment was quite funny. Looks like they were really getting into it huh?
Obviously that wasnt the case though.
I'm so glad I have these pictures!

Here are these 3 again. They are so precious!

Just like an old married couple huh?
They were proud of there little chairs!

These precious kids have been such a blessing to watch. We've seen them grow up together for the last 2 1/2 years. We've seen them become friends. What a wonderful thing it is as parents.

4th of July, 2009

For the 4th of July, we went to Kingston TN to hang out with my friend Sarah and her family. She has 3 boys that are all around Jocelyns age. The city of Kingston puts on a fireworks show every year. It's not a huge show, but perfect for Jocelyn since this is her first. She loved it too!

Jocelyn looking around for this things that she hasnt ever seen called 'fireworks'.
There they are!
