7/7/08 - Drinking Out of a Cup

Jocelyn is getting practice drinking out of a cup all by herself. We have these little Dora yogurt cups that are perfect for her to practice with. She is so cute doing it. She gets so excited when I offer her the opportunity to drink by herself.

7/5/08 - Daddy's Angel

When Jocelyn can downstairs dressed for church, Daddy said she looked like an Angel in her pretty little pale yellow smocked dress. I had to agree...

4th of July

Today is the 4th of July. We met up with the Dillon family at a water playground here at a local park and let the kids run around in the water.

As I looked through these pictures I realized how fast Jocelyn is growing up. She definitely has lost that baby look and is looking more and more like a little girl. Sorry for posting so many snap shots of her. I just wanted to give friends and family who dont get to see her often a good idea of how much she has changed.

Jocelyn felt to need to praise the Lord a little.

Over the last week, Jocelyn has learned to say the word "no". It's been funny to watch her slowly discover that there is authority in that word. Of course, now we have to start working on when it is and when it isnt ok to use that word. Thank God it wasnt the first word she learned. Thank God it wasnt the first word she learned.

Attached is a video of her worshiping Jesus and when she's asked if that's what she's doing, she says "no". Of course, there's more too.

7/2/08 - Jogging

Jeffry and I have started jogging a few miles a few times a week. I have really enjoyed it, which is very surprising because I never thought I would ever enjoy running. Jeffry is a great running partner though, Jocelyn isnt so bad herself.

Anyhow, Jeffry gets the honors of pushing Jocelyn in the jogger stroller. She really enjoys it. On the days we jog in the morning, still in her pj's...she gets her grapes and Special K to eat and juice in her sippy. She also gets to take a stuffed animal or toy to keep her company. This morning she picked her 2 favorite stuffed animal dogs and placed them just perfectly on each of her sides when we strapped her in. What a life! ;-)
